"Spice was just right"
I went to Turtle Bay and it was a really nice meal. I do like food that have a proper kick, and the spice levels was spot on for me, not too mild, but it didn’t take over the flavour either. My mate got a milder one and he enjoy it too. I’d happily go back again.

"Pretty disappointing meal, honestly"
The food looked good when it came out, but the taste just didn’t live up to it. My curry was bland, the chicken was dry, and the spice barely came through. For a place serving food like this, I think it’s only fair to expect proper flavour and a bit more care in the kitchen. I left feeling like they could’ve done a lot better.

"Pretty easy to grab a table"
Booked a table through turtlebay.co.uk and it was simple. We managed to find a time that worked for us, even though it was the weekend. There weren’t tons of slots left, but still enough to choose from. I’d use it again, though I’d probably book a bit earlier next time just to be safe.

"Great vegan choices, but be warned you'll want to over-order"
I was surprised by how many veggie and vegan options they had. I went for a curry with a few sides and everything was really tasty, filling, and easy to spot on the menu. Just a little warning: the portions are satisfying, so don’t get carried away ordering too much like I nearly did. I’d definitely go back.

I have to give them credit, the staff did check the allergen book for me, even if it took a little longer than you’d hope. Not the quickest service, but at least I felt safe eating there, which is more than I can say for some places

"Good flavor, but the portions were tiny"
The food tasted good, I’ll give them that, but the portions were way too small. I finished my meal and was still hungry, which is frustrating for what I paid. Also, dealing with the automated ordering system didn’t help my mood much, sometimes you just want to ask an actual person a simple question

"Friendly staff made the visit really pleasant"
I stopped in not expecting much, but the staff were so friendly that it made the whole experience feel nicer. Everyone I talked to was welcoming and easygoing, which made a simple visit turn into a really pleasant one

"Fun Bottomless Brunch!!"
Went for bottomless brunch with some friends and had such a good time!! The drinks came out quickly, the staff were really lovely, and the food was tasty too. It did get a bit loud at times, but we still had loads of fun!!

"Tasty takeaway, just a little slower than expected"
Ordered from Turtle Bay for a takeaway and overall it was a good one. Compared to a lot of places I’ve had delivered, the food actually arrived still hot, especially the jerk chicken, which was a nice surprise. Fries were decent too, not amazing but better than the usual soggy delivery fries, and the portions felt fair for the price. Only downside was the delivery taking longer than the app said, so I’d knock a star off for that. Still, I enjoyed it and would order again

"Food was okay, but the place felt a bit grubby"
I went to Turtle Bay last weekend and the food was alright, nothing amazing but decent enough!! The main thing that put me off was how unclean the place felt. The table was sticky, the menus had marks on them, and the toilets really weren’t great. The staff were friendly, to be fair, but it kind of made me not enjoy eating there. I probably wouldn’t rush back unless they sort the cleaning out...

"Sloppy presentation and too much verification"
The food showed up looking really messy on the plate, not appetizing at all. On top of that, having to go through verification again and again was annoying and just made the whole experience feel even more frustrating.

"Not as fresh as I hoped"
I had mixed feelings about this meal. The order arrived fine and I really wanted to enjoy it, but the food just didn’t taste very fresh. The chicken seemed like it had been sitting around for a while, and the salad was limp. I ended up eating some of it, but it put me off finishing the rest. Maybe it was just an off day, but it wasn’t what I was expecting...

"Weak, watery cocktails that let us down"
I went out for cocktails with a few friends, and I was disappointed. I ordered what should’ve been a rum-based drink, but it mostly tasted like ice and juice with barely any rum coming through.

We thought maybe it was just that one drink, so we tried a couple of different cocktails, but they all had the same weak, watery feel. For the price, it really didn’t feel worth it, and I left feeling annoyed.
